The binding is in very good condition with raised bands on spine. Panels have gilt floral design in the center and label and author in gilt in upper panel. Internal condition is very good with only minor age browning to plates and slight off setting of plate 5 to last page of text. New end papers were added when the book was bound in full blue morocco. This is a scarce, uncut copy with all nine plates present. The plates were drawn and signed by C. Varley (Pl. 1), S. W. Leonard (Pl. 2-8), and Warren De La Rue (Pl. 9).
