Original green cloth binding with title, author, vol., and publisher in gilt on spine, top and bottom of which have gilt decoration. The ends of spine of in Vol. I are frayed. Corners of both volumes are rubbed and bumped with some loss of cloth. Bookplate of Swedish book collector, Thorne Virgin, on front pastedowns dated 1911. Thorne's ink signature, place and date (London 29-4- 1910) of purchase (?) on verso of front free end paper of both volumes. Inner hinges strengthened. Very Good. Item #000013
