This is a generally a very good copy of Bazin’s translation of Reaumur’s French text. Plates illustrate behavior, anatomy, hive organization and insect(mite) parasite of bees. Reaumur’s observations and ideas on bees were very popular in the 18th century, leading to translations in German and English by Brazin.
