This is a large paper uncut and partially unopened copy. The paper spine is lacking and there are tears and loss on paperboards along former hinges. Front cover has separate pasted label with title and price contained in double black border. There is pasted notice on front pastedown on how to use planispheres with further instructions on page viii. The text and plates have dampstaing and stains in the gutter area that do not affect text but does enter plate area approaching the image. The plates have moderate foxing.
