$1,800.00

Collection of seed packets with chromolithograph images of plants and flowers. This is an exceptional and scarce collection of early printed seed packets collected in a single volume. It is likely that a traveling salesman in Germany would present such an album to nurseries to illustrate the available seeds for ordering. Most of the plants are annuals or biennials. This album is in very good condition and probably not used in the field. This suggests that it may have been for reference in a seed company's office.
